چکیده
Abstract Mitochondrial fusion and fission, which are strongly related to normal mitochondrial function, referred as dynamics. defects in the liver cause a non-alcoholic steatohepatitis-like phenotype cancer. However, whether fission defect directly impair function stimulate disease progression, too, is unclear. Dynamin-related protein 1 (DRP1) key factor controlling fission. We hypothesized that DRP1 causal involved development progression. Drp1 promoted endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, hepatocyte death, subsequently induced infiltration of inflammatory macrophages. deletion increased expression numerous genes immune response DNA damage LiKO mouse primary hepatocytes. administered lipopolysaccharide (LPS) liver-specific -knockout ( LiKO) mice observed an cytokine serum caused by exaggerated ER stress enhanced inflammasome activation. This study indicates defect-induced dynamics dysfunction regulates fate hepatocytes enhances LPS-induced acute injury vivo.

Lipopolysaccharide-binding protein modulates acetaminophen-induced liver injury in mice.
Acetaminophen toxicity is the most common cause of acute liver failure in the United States and Europe. Although much is known about the metabolism of acetaminophen, many questions remain regarding the pathogenesis of liver injury. In this study, we examined the role of lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP), a protein important in mediating cellular response to lipopolysaccharides, by using ...

Early growth response (Egr)-1 is a transcription factor that regulates genes involved in inflammation, innate and adaptive immunity, coagulation, and wound healing; however, little is known about the role of Egr-1 in acute liver injury. We tested the hypothesis that Egr-1 is involved in acute liver injury induced by galactosamine/lipopolysaccharide (GalN/LPS). GalN/LPS exposure biphasically inc...
متن کاملNos2 deficiency enhances carbon tetrachloride-induced liver injury in aged mice
Objective(s): As a multifunctional molecule, NO has different effects on liver injury. The present work aimed to investigate the effects of Nos2 knockout (KO) on acute liver injury in aged mice treated with carbon tetrachloride (CCl4). Materials and Methods: The acute liver injury model was produced by CCl4 at 10 ml/kg body weight in 24-...
متن کاملOroxylin A Accelerates Liver Regeneration in CCI4-Induced Acute Liver Injury Mice
INTRODUCTION Based on the previous research that oroxylin A can suppress inflammation, we investigated the hepatoprotective role of oroxylin A against CCl₄-induced liver damage in mice and then studied the possible alteration of the activities of cytokine signaling participating in liver regeneration. Wild type (WT) mice were orally administrated with oroxylin A (60 mg/kg) for 4 days after CCl₄...
متن کاملVoluntary wheel running attenuates lipopolysaccharide-induced liver inflammation in mice.
Sepsis induces an acute inflammatory response in the liver, which can lead to organ failure and death. Given the anti-inflammatory effects of exercise, we hypothesized that habitual physical activity could protect against acute sepsis-induced liver inflammation via mechanisms, including heat shock protein (HSP) 70/72. Male C57BL/6J mice (n = 80, ∼8 wk of age) engaged in physical activity via vo...
